FTC

Exploding Bacon's FTC team is an off-shoot of the FRC team.  It was orginally formed as an FVC team when the senior members wanted to compete all year long.  The smaller team also doubled as a way to train new members in building robots and understanding core concepts.  During the three years the FTC team has been around, we have won many awards including the Florida Inspire Award three times and the Connect Award twice.  These awards both emphasize our outreach in conjunction with the FRC team. Personally, this team has taught me about  things such as Pulse Width Modulation and Gear Ratios.  I have had a lot of fun at comptetitions and scrimmages and will definitly be on the team next year.
